帮忙看看我的PET/CT报告

我是边缘区淋巴瘤患者，在第五个R-CVP疗程前两天做了PET/CT。好不容易把PET/CT报告弄出来了，可惜看不懂。我已经尝试目前所有可以借用的翻译手段，就是有几个关键词不明白。请大家帮忙翻译一下，特别是粗体字FDG-avid的意思。谢谢。
下面是报告全文：

MUHC-IMAGING REPORT
F18 FDG PET SCAN

TECHNIQUE :Following IV injection of F18 FDG, PET-CT images were obtained from the skull base to mid femurs. Low dose CT scan was performed for attenuation of the PET data and anatomic localization. Reported maximun SUV values are adjusted for body weight.

INDICATION: Marginal zone lymphoma. Follow up post four cycles chemotherapy. To assess.

COMPARISON: JANUARY, 2015.

FINDINGS:
The previously described hypermetabolic lesions in the orbits, in the left cervical lymph nodes and hepatic lesion has resolved. No abnormal uptake of radiotracer is seen at the site of the nodule in the right parotid gland.
No new FDG-avid lesions are demonstrated in the  neck, the chest, adbome and pelvis.
Mild increased bone marrow activity can be due to hyperplaisa secondary to chemotherapy.
No concerning FDG-avid osseous lesions.

IMPRESSION:
There has excellent metabolic response to chemotherapy.
There is no evidence of FDG-avid lymphoma on the PET scan at this time.

在PET报告中经常和FDG关联在一起的两个词是avid和affinity，都是亲和性的意思，因为肿瘤细胞代谢旺盛，所以通常对FDG即做PET时注射进体内的18F-脱氧葡萄糖显示出高亲和性。

@橙色雨丝  谢谢，心情好了很多。还有一问，既然肿瘤缓解，为什么还要继续完成剩下4疗程的化疗。

PET阴性只是影像学上的缓解，对于白血病可以做非常精确的minimal residual disease的检测，可惜对于淋巴瘤目前还没有可靠的手段发现微小疾病残余，所以需要做满6-8个疗程以确保所有恶性细胞都被清除了。
